Appointments

New Patients

If you are interested in scheduling a new patient appointment, please review our Practice Policies, then call the office directly and leave a voicemail with your contact information including email address. Most calls are returned within 48-72 hours during the workweek.

Please note that appointments are not overbooked, as time is reserved exclusively for each patient. If you do not attend your initial appointment, or if you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 business hours' notice, you will be charged the full session fee. This fee may be waived if the appointment time can be filled by another patient.

While I do not file insurance or work with insurance companies, I do assist my patients by providing the necessary paperwork to submit to their private insurance carriers for reimbursement. Practicing this way allows me to keep the focus on patient care. Additionally, it ensures complete patient confidentiality for patients who elect not to notify their insurance carriers of provided care.

Established Patients

I'm glad to offer a convenient online scheduler for telemedicine appointments with established patients.

After you book your appointment, you’ll receive an email with easy-to-follow instructions for connecting to our secure virtual visit platform.

If you’d prefer to schedule an in-person visit, or if it has been more than one year since your last appointment, please call the office so we can assist you directly.

Please note, this scheduler is for established patients only.

Confirmations & Cancellations

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, will be charged the full session fee.

Please remember that your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. The schedule is not overbooked to allow each patient the time and attention they need. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please reschedule using the link provided in your reminder email or contact the office as soon as possible.

Regular appointments are an important part of ongoing care. To remain active in treatment, all patients are expected to be seen at least once every 3 to 6 months. Patients on controlled medications (for ADHD, anxiety, etc.) must be seen for an appointment every 90 days. The state of Alabama also requires an in-office visit annually for all patients on controlled medications. Multiple missed appointments will be considered grounds for dismissal from care.
